What are the classifications of LCD? The LCD produced by the photoelectric effect is divided into the following TN-LCD and STN-LCD, HTN-LCD, FSTN-LCD, TFT-LCD.

TN-LCD is a twisted nematic LCD display. We usually see electronic watches, calculators, game consoles and other LCD mostly TN-LCD.
STN-LCD is the abbreviation of "Super Twist Liquid Crystal Display", that is, super twisted nematic LCD. It is similar to the structure of TN-LCD. The difference is that its distortion angle is not 90 degrees, but between 180~270. Although it is only twisted angle, its working principle is completely different from that of TN-LCD. STN-LCD is the mid-range product produced by LCD at present. It has more information than TN-LCD display, it is mainly used in a variety of instruments, meters, notebook, notebook computers and so on. STN-LCD manufacturing process is basically mature, but the main technology is in the hands of Japan, South Korea and other countries. There are more than 10 domestic STN-LCD manufacturing companies in China.
HTN-LCD is the abbreviation of "Hight Twist Nematic Liquid Crystal Display", that is, high twisted nematic liquid crystal display, the distortion angle of HTN-LCD is between 100 degrees ~120 degrees, between TN-LCD and STN-LCD. HTN-LCD is not large in quantity at present, and its performance is also between TN-LCD and STN-LCD.
FSTN-LCD is the abbreviation of "Film Super Twist Nematic Liquid Crystal Display". The Film here refers to the compensation film or the delayed film, so the FSTN-LCD calls the compensated film super twisted nematic LCD display. A special compensation film can overcome the shortcomings of STN-LCD.
TFT-LCD, the active matrix LCD of thin film transistors, is the highest quality product in the LCD market. It is mainly used in notebook computers, LCD TV and so on. The manufacturing process of TFT-LCD is complex and the price is high.
There are many kinds of LCD screen. According to the display mode, they can be divided into transmission and reflection direct looking display.
The transmission type LCD is equipped with fluorescent lamps, electroluminescent lamps and other light sources on the back. It can also be used in dim light.
Reflective type is a kind of aluminum foil reflective film affixed to the back of LCD glass substrate, so that it reflects the incident light of LCD, used for display.
In TN and STN modes, the back glass. The substrate is provided with a polarizing plate and a reflecting film with a wrinkled surface, and the reflection type fully displays the characteristics that the non luminous LCD has less power consumption.
Now you should know the classification of LCD screen? So, can you tell the difference between different displays now?
