According to the latest report, Apple's upcoming 2020 iPhone will all use flexible OLED panels provided by Samsung, BOE and LG, and is expected to have new features such as 10-bits colors that enable the iPhone to display more than 1 billion colors.
It is understood that iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max will be equipped with OLED screens provided by BOE to better control the cost of the whole machine. As a result, the prices of these two conventional models are lower than last year's iPhone 11.
Earlier this year, there were rumors that BOE might become a supplier of iPhone 12, in an effort to reduce Apple's dependence on Samsung, its number one competitor in the smartphone market. Currently, Apple has confirmed that iPhone 12 will use OLED panels throughout, and BOE has been confirmed to be one of the three major suppliers of Apple's OLED.
