3 Differences Between Digital Screen And Analog Screen

Nowadays, liquid crystal splicing screens are used in many places, and sometimes we see a special mark of "digital screen" or "analog screen" when the business is spreading. So, since they are all LCD screens, what's the difference between digital screens and analog screens?

1. One of the differences between digital screen and analog screen: the difference of circuit.

Pixels added to the LCD screen must be digital signals. There are many row and column drives on the edge of the screen called IC,. The circuit board at the back of the screen is mainly a controller, which converts the received signal into a drive signal that meets the timing requirements of the driver and sends it to the driver to illuminate the corresponding pixels.

2. the second difference between digital screen and analog screen: the difference in input.

The analog screen and the digital screen are the same in this section, and the main difference lies in the input. The digital screen inputs the digital signal directly, and each color signal of the RGB is converted into a digital signal by the video processing circuit, which is directly sent to the control driver on the screen, and the A / D conversion is completed in the previous circuit. The analog screen input is three main analog signal inputs, and the A / D conversion is completed in the circuit of the LCD screen.

3. The third difference between digital screen and analog screen is also the most critical difference: whether the RGB signal is analog or digital.

If the input RGB is a simulation signal, this screen is called the simulation screen and is sampled inside the LCM driver IC, and then the sample value is sent to the TFT. If the input RGB signal is digital, it is called a digital screen.
