Recently, many mobile phone manufacturers began to "full lamination" this technology to increase their selling point for their mobile phones What the hell is this? Let's have a look.

Screen structure

From the structure of the screen, we can roughly divide the screen into 3 parts, from top to bottom respectively protecting glass, touching screen and display screen. And these three parts need to be fitted, and generally need two times to fit, in between the protection of glass and touch screen between a fit, while the other is between the display and touch screen.

Protective glass, touch screen, display screen

The full lamination is divided into three types: 1. fit Beijiao paste (also called hole glue), operation advantages: simple process, disadvantages of environmental requirements is not high: easy rework, light transmittance difference, not strong; 2. water glue (LOCA), has the advantages of good transparency, strong disadvantages: it is difficult to glue control (especially large size products), rework is not high yield. 3. solid adhesive (OCA) advantages: light transmittance is good, products firm, shortcomings: bubbles difficult to control, higher cost, not suitable for large size operations.

The so-called box stickers, also known as "mouth" glue fit, that is, double-sided adhesive will touch the module and the four sides of the panel simply fixed, which is currently the majority of tablets used by the joint approach. The utility model has the advantages of easy construction and low cost, but because the air layer is formed between the panel and the touch control module, the display effect is greatly reduced after the refraction of the light, which is the biggest drawback of the frame sticking.

The general surface is called full lamination, it is based on the water binder (solid) or optical glue panel and touch module in a seamless way completely sticking together. Compared to the post box, in addition to fit the whole display effect better, because the touch module combined with the panel for the strength increase, another advantage of laminating technology is no longer into the gray screen. In addition, the full lamination is more effective in reducing the interference caused by the panel noise to the touch signal.

With full lamination technology, light reflection can be reduced by 75%

Although all attached great advantage, but the yield is relatively low, because the surface of the glass yield caused by poor and even the panel on the fit of the consumption of scrap will inevitably result in rising costs, and therefore yield control deaeration fit will become more important than material cost factors. Because the laminating technology let the screen display increased significantly, so it will be the next military a hotly contested spot, and many manufacturers investment also helps to reduce the cost and improve the yield improvement, I believe that shortly after the full lamination technology will be common in most of our mobile phone.

Now many of the touch panel glass factory in the joint, the habit of using the higher production efficiency, easy and uniform thickness of optical tape (OCA) fit technology, but this technology in the joint, easy to have a bubble and increase rate of bad, tiny bubbles cannot be found and when the fitting may also expand over time, only the purchase price of vacuum equipment expensive only inhibits the bubble generating opportunities.
