As our interactive window with the Internet world, the LCD display panel is generally divided into three categories: IPS, VA, and TN. Today, let's talk about the three major differences between the TN screen and the IPS screen.

1. One of the differences between TN screens and IPS screens: is the different viewing angles.

Due to the manufacturing principle of the TN screen, the viewing angle should not be turned too much when watching, otherwise, the content on the screen will not be seen, and the visual angle can be raised to 170 °only by using the film compensation film copying technology.

The IPS screen does not have these restrictions, and you can perfectly see the content on the screen at an angle of 178 °.

2. The second difference between the TN screen and the IPS screen: is the different color gamut.

TN screen is the native panel of 6Bit, which can only display 64 colors of red, green, and blue, and the maximum actual color is only 262144. Through "jitter" technology, it can be increased to more than 16 million colors, but in the end, the maximum number of colors displayed is only 16.2 million colors.

The IPS screen can display more colors, and its color accuracy is better than that of the TN screen.

3. The third difference between the TN screens and the IPS screens: different response speeds.

The grayscale response time of the TN screen is longer, which will cause the dynamic image displayed on the screen to leave a residual shadow, which will have a certain impact on the user.

IPS hard screen technology has changed the arrangement of liquid crystal molecular particles, using horizontal conversion technology, so that the reaction speed of the LCD screen is faster and more stable, it can achieve excellent dynamic high-definition pictures, compared with TN screen, it is more suitable for moving image reproduction, no residual shadow and trailing.
