What are the differences between a TFT screen and an IPS screen? And what are their advantages and disadvantages of them?
1. TFT VS IPS: refers to different things.
TFT screen: thin film field effect transistor, which belongs to a kind of active-matrix liquid crystal display.
IPS screen: it is a technology based on TFT, and its essence is still the TFT screen.
2. TFT VS IPS: different advantages.
TFT screen: you can "actively" control each independent pixel on the screen, which can greatly improve the reaction time.
IPS screen: the arrangement of liquid crystal molecular particles has been changed, and the horizontal conversion technology has been adopted to make the reaction speed of the LCD screen faster and more stable. When dealing with continuous dynamic pictures, one of the advantages of horizontal conversion is to accelerate the deflection speed of liquid crystal molecules, which is reflected in the fast response speed of the IPS hard screen.
3. TFT VS IPS: different structures.
TFT screen: the main components of TFT LCD include: a fluorescent tube, light guide plate, polarizer, filter plate, glass substrate, an alignment film, liquid crystal material, thin mode transistor, and so on.
IPS screen: both poles are on the same surface, unlike other liquid crystal modes, the electrodes are arranged in three dimensions on the upper and lower sides. This technology optimizes the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules and adopts the horizontal arrangement. When external pressure is encountered, the molecular structure sinks down slightly, but the whole molecule is still horizontal.
