LCD screen epoxy resin is used in the pre-production process of LCD screen into a box section. 1. Curing temperature and time

LCD screen epoxy resin must be cured at a certain temperature, and it takes a certain time to complete curing. In order to limit the production cost and ensure the quality of finished products, people always hope to reduce the curing temperature on the premise of ensuring the sealing performance, reduce the curing temperature of the commonly used curing sealant at 150℃, curing time is 1 hour, and some sealants can be cured at 100℃.

2. application period

When the prepared epoxy resin is in contact with the surrounding environment, it will be affected by humidity, oxygen, temperature and so on. The performance of the prepared epoxy resin will deteriorate gradually. Because the epoxy resin is easy to absorb moisture, oxidize and cure when the temperature is high, there is a certain time limit for the epoxy resin to maintain its usable performance. This period is called the application period. Epoxy resins that exceed this limit should not be used for LCD screen frames. In order to prolong the application period of epoxy resin, epoxy resin which is not used for the time being should be stored in a dark and dry environment around (±5℃).

3. viscosity

The actual use of epoxy resin must meet certain viscosity requirements. If the lcd screen border appears epoxy resin viscosity, it may be solvent hair or partly cured.

4. Bond strength after curing

After curing, epoxy resin must have enough bonding strength, so as to ensure good sealing of LCD screen and no brushing of silver spots. The bonding strength is not only related to epoxy resin, but also to process specification and surface state of glass. The preparation and use of epoxy must be carried out in a dry environment, and the glass surface must be kept clean and dry.

5. Purity requirements

If there are some ionic impurities in epoxy resin, it will probably penetrate into the liquid crystal layer through contact, which will affect the display energy and life of the lcd screen. Therefore, the epoxy resin is required to have high purity and less impurities.
