How to Achieve Low Power Consumption on LCD Display

Because the backlight of LCD display consumes a lot of power, in some cases, because the output power of power supply is limited, the power consumption of serial port screen must be reduced in order to meet the requirements. There are two options for users to choose from: 

The main results are as follows: (1) reduce the backlight of LCD display. By changing the back photoresistance value, the current backlight will be reduced by 30%, and the power consumption will be reduced by 30% to 40% accordingly. At this time, the picture shows that there will not be too much derogation, which is still acceptable. 

(2) A MOS switch circuit is added to the motherboard circuit to control the power supply of the whole serial screen. For example, when LCD display needs a low-power mode, the user's low-power single-chip microcomputer outputs a IO signal to turn off the whole serial port screen power supply, and then the single-chip microcomputer also enters the sleep mode. Once the user presses the switch, the sleeping single-chip microcomputer is awakened at this time. Then the single-chip microcomputer turns on the power supply of the serial screen, so that the whole system achieves the real low power consumption and is convenient for battery power supply.
