We sometimes encounter the situation of the flashing screen when using the computer, and many friends do not know what to do when they encounter this situation. The following will analyze the seven causes of the flashing screen of the computer display and the corresponding solutions.

Seven Reasons For The Flashing Screen Of Computer Display

1. Incorrect refresh rate is displayed.

If the refresh rate is set too low, it will cause the screen to wobble. Check it by right-clicking a blank area of the system desktop and clicking the "Properties" command from the pop-up right-click menu to enter the display's property settings window. Click the "Settings" tab in this window, click the "Advanced" button in the corresponding tab page that pops up, open the display's advanced property settings interface, and then click the "Monitor" tab. from which you can see that the refresh rate of the monitor is set to "60", which is the reason for the continuous shaking of the monitor screen. Set the new frequency to above "75", and then click OK to return to the desktop.
In fact, the main reason for the display screen jitter is that the display refresh frequency setting is lower than that caused by 75Hz, when the screen often appears jitter and flicker, we only need to increase the refresh rate to above 75Hz, then the screen jitter will not appear again.

2. Incorrect video card driver.

Sometimes when we enter the refresh rate of the computer's monitor, we find that there is no refresh rate to choose from, which is due to the incorrect or old driver of the front video card. Computers purchased earlier are prone to this problem. Instead of using the drivers in the CD when you bought the computer, you can download the latest version of the driver of the corresponding display card online, and then open the properties window of the "system". Click the device Manager button in the hardware window to enter the device list interface of the system. Right-click the display card option in the interface, click the Properties command from the right-click menu that pops up, and then click the driver tab in the pop-up graphics card property settings window. then click the Update driver button in the corresponding tab page, and then gradually update the video card driver to the latest version according to the wizard prompts, and finally restart the computer system. If the driver is installed properly, the display refresh frequency option will appear, and then set the refresh rate to above 75Hz.

3. Display jitter caused by magnetic field interference.

The display is easily disturbed by a strong electric field or a strong magnetic field, and if using the two methods described above still cannot solve the jitter problem, it should be suspected that the screen jitter is caused by the magnetic field or electric field near the display. In order to eliminate all the interference around the monitor, you can move the computer to a table that is empty all around, and then start the test. If the screen jitter disappears, then it shows that there is a strong electric field or strong magnetic field interference in the original place of your computer. Please take suspicious things (such as the subwoofer of the speaker, magnetized cups, etc.) from near the computer. Then turn off the monitor and turn it back on several times to achieve the purpose of degaussing (today's monitors have automatic degaussing when turned on).

4. Poor contact of display card.

Open the chassis, pull the display card out of the slot, and then wipe the dust off the gold finger of the display card by hand. It is best to find a soft fine brush to gently remove all the dust from the surface of the display card. Then wipe the surface of the gold finger with a clean rubber to remove the oxide layer on the surface of the gold finger. Finally, the display card will be re-tightly inserted into the slot of the motherboard. Secure it to the chassis housing with screws. After rebooting and testing, the general fault can be solved.

5. Display aging.

Sometimes jitter occurs due to the age of the monitor used. In order to check whether the electronic components inside the monitor are aging, the faulty monitor can be connected to someone else's computer for testing. If the fault still disappears, the monitor is broken and needs to be repaired.

6. Inferior power supply or power equipment has been aging.

The workmanship and materials of the components used in the power supply of many miscellaneous-brand computers are very poor, which can easily lead to poor circuit or power supply ability of the computer. when the system is busy, the display will appear the phenomenon of screen jitter. When the power equipment of a computer begins to age, it is easy to cause the same problem. The power supply can be replaced for testing at this time.

7. The virus is causing trouble.

Some computer viruses can disturb the screen display, such as character inversion, screen jitter, graphic flip display and so on.
