The TFT LCD screen belongs to the active matrix LCD screen, which is a screen made up of thin film transistors, and each of its liquid crystal pixels is driven by the thin film transistor. Behind each pixel, there are four independent thin film transistors driving pixels to emit color light, which can display the true color of the 24bit color. In terms of resolution, the maximum resolution of TFT LCD can reach UXGA (1600 × 1200).
The arrangement of the TFT LCD screen has memory, so it will not return to its original state immediately after the current disappears, thus improving the flicker and blur of the STN LCD screen and effectively improving the effect of the LCD display of the dynamic picture. The ability to display static pictures is also more prominent. The dragon point of the TFT LCD screen is short response time and bright colors, so it is widely used in laptops, DV and DC. The disadvantage of TFT LCD screen is that it consumes more electricity and costs more.
