What are RGB and RGBW LCD screens? What's the difference between them?
RGB represents the colors of red, green and blue. This standard includes almost all the colors that can be perceived by human vision. It is one of the most widely used color systems at present. A RGB color value specifies the relative brightness of the red, green, and blue primary colors, resulting in a specific color for display.
RGBW in the original RGB three primary colors composed of pixels, and then add a white sub-pixel, the shape of the RGBW four-color pixels. RGBW technology is a 4K screen developed and produced by LG display. The unique 4-color solution makes the color richer and the color gamut wider.
The difference between RGB and RGBW LCD screen is that RGBW is a four-color pixel design by adding white sub-pixels on the basis of RGB. To put it simply, RBGW displays are more transparent and brighter than RGB.
